So, I think I've come to the point where I should be learning to do pinch harmonics and stuff. But I heard that you need a lot of distortion to do them, and my guitar is so weak it's appalling. Is there any chance I can do them anyway? 'Cause I'm far from able to get a new guitar at the moment...

Yes you can.

Its technique, not gain...

Really? Oh, then I'll just have to learn it... I don't have a clue how to do it, I gave up after I read that I needed a lot of distortion... They said it was hard to do on a 15W amp, and I have a 15W amp and a ****ing retarded guitar

you need the technique. gain and other equipment only help to really push them over the top.

they sound tons better with a better amp.. You can do them on acoustics if you want they just dont sound great.

if you get the technique down, you can do them on any guitar. if you're really having trouble, try a new pickup.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.
