what's everyone's favourite delay pedal? i use a boss dd-3 and its pretty good but i was just wondering about what anyone else thinks is the best one. i like the memory man but my taste is dodgy. or so im told
#3
depends, if i want a regular plain jane delay, probaly the maxon ad-9 or eh memory man. but if i wanted something crazy sounding, digitech digi delay and a boss dd-6.

well its MY preference that they sound better.....i think the delay tone is much warmer and natural sounding IMO

The Line6 DL4 is really good, but I read about some foot switch reliability issues
#11
^ with the DL4 there are EVERYTHING issues

sounds great but it craps out (Boss has a 5 yr warrantty as opposed to Line 6's one year)

Hell...6505...let's make our own thread for it.

Ill leave it up to you
#15
there's already a settings thread. and god forbid you mess with it to find something you like.

thats for amp settings
#17
if it were for amp settings it would be called the amp settings thread.

but it's called the settings thread. so therefore, any settings are allowed in it. and there are plenty of pedal setting questions in there. maybe not many FX settings because most people have the initiative to at least figure those out themselves.

uhm ok we can stop making fun of each other now...as for settings if you still have the booklet stuff the dd-3 came with it should have some good settings. use them as a starting point and progress from there

whats l337
#24
l337 or lite comes from ELITE, which is a form of internet dialect mostly found on internet games like Counter-Strike and WarCraft.

I'm better than you would translate to 1 \/\/lIl_l_ pwl\l 0l\l l\ll_lb

still in the same place. but i believe the question is, what has it become?

i quite like my digitech digidelay. does what i want in a delay pedal. some cool abiotic stuff for clean experimental stuff, and smooths leads out.

Line 6 DL-4>>>>> all. Haven't had any issues with mine after having it for 3 months. It's easily the best digital delay pedal ever made. I'm looking to invest in their FM-4 and MM-4 in the future.
