Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

my budget is like maybe $100 bucks, but I'm just wondering what KIND to buy, I can bargain hunt on my own. Right now I just have Shure sm58>crown amp>Kustom 15"s

I've heard good reviews about the Digitech vocal processors; the ones that resemble the guitar RP series

well of the mic preamps, i found the behringer preamp box warms up a vocal or a guitar input nicely.
http://www.music123.com/Behringer-MIC200-Tube-Ultragain-i128213.music

makes it nice, especially for input computer recording.

zoom vocal vocal effects are pretty bad.

sometimes you can find a chorus or reverb effect on a mixer or even a cheap reverb effect at radio shack.

the vocal compressor rack behiringer makes is a little too difficult to set to be very effective.

hope this is at all helpful. most vocal effects cost much more that $100.
maybe u can search reverb / hall / chorus effects.
