hey,i was wondering are there any techniques u guys use to increase the volume u get from legato techniques on an acoustic apart from hammering them harder? For example, lowering the bridge/using lighter strings, whatever. Thing is im, refurnishing an old crappy acoustic guitar and want to add more legato to my playing style on acoustic, I know acoustic guitars arent really designed to be played legato style but im trying to experiment.

Thanx for you'r help!

the only thing that i can think of that isn't a technique tip is just making sure you have your guitar set up well. after that, it's just practice.

by set up i mean have the neck straight, the action suitable, and the intonation correct. my bad, i should've been more specific.
