i am interested in buying a B52 212 and, was wondering what it means when it says it has 3 different rectifiers for example there are: Tube A, Tube Ab, Or solid state.

The truth is, most guitarist start out as losers. Most of us were unsocialble twats who couldnt get laid on our best day.......so we then invested all that spare time masterbating and playing guitar and after a while the pu$$y started rolling in..
not 100% sure but the way i see it as on my amp, is solid state for metal/heavy metal, Tube A for classic rock where you only need a little gain, and A/b is inbetween both where its not as heavy as solid state but yet not as light as Tube A... I play mostly heavy metal so i havent explored to much of Tube A and A/b as im usually on solid state...

Best thing to do is to try them all out, just remember before switching between them put the amp on stand-by so you dont damage it...
Of the B-52 line look for the AT versions. They get the best reviews.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.
