Which metalcore/hardcore band do you think has the best live show? Personally my favorite is August Burns Red. I've seen them once and I have tickets to see them again on July 3 w/demon hunter, zao, spoken, and becoming the archetype. I think they put on an amazing live show.

You got to see Becoming the Archetype!?! You lucky bastard. Did they play Elegy(if you know)

I've only seen As I Lay Dying, Unearth, and Slipknot, they were all pretty good. I'm seeing a bunch of kickass bands this summer though. (Sounds of the Underground, Unholy Alliance, Warped Tour.)

I saw Until the End's final show. That was incredible. Kids Like Us is really good live, as is Modern Life Is War, This Is Hell and Outbreak.

that tour came though dallas like last night or the night before or something, alot of my friends wanted to go but i had no desire to, ABR has 2 decent songs, BTA is somewhat talented but boring, i saw them like a week after they got signed to solidstate in a tiny club in a podunk town once....they are nice guys but music doesnt appeal to me

It is obvious that showbread has the best metalcore show. The best show ive ever seen is The Fall of Troy, then maybe Thursday.

i was up in nyc for madball's last show at cbgb's. that was a site to behold.

other than that the best consistent perfomers for me would have to be death threat
#17
death threat are ****ing awsome i want to see them and i have a chance this summer but i won't take it because they are playing a fest and there are only six bands that i want to see and i don't want to pay twenty five dollars for six bands

i like your taste... minus the against me part.

Efrem is crazy live, especially when they play Sing Along with the patriotic punks.

Strike anywhere is probably my 2nd favorite band of all time. ive seen them like, 9 times.

and fugazi..... speaks for itself
i was modest about it before... but i am the ****ing man

this is tough but Killswitch puts on a very entertaining show combing a lot of different elements into there performance...i am also going to see august burns red and becoming the archtype in august and sounds of the underground in 4 days so maybe my opinion will change later

ummmmmm lets see. bleeding through puts on a ****ing nice ass show my friends. they have a ton of energy on stage, plus id do marta if i was bored. i saw them with ETID and haste the day. both bands were very good. HTD had an eruption on the floor which was sick.

as i lay dying- vocals give me a boner.

KSE- not hardcore, but they put on a fun show. they know how to have a good time on stage which is good, so its not boring to watch when im tired of moshing.

****ing apparently you guys havent heard of gwar? they may not sound amazing or whatever. but you have to admit theyre disgusting on stage and have entertaining skits. i mean who doesnt like killing nazi popes, eating jerry spring, and spraying blood into the crowd? mmm mmm niggas.

slipknot- amazing energy. they know how to put on a show.

but yeah im forgetting some other bands, but whatever. if you go to ozz or sotu, your going to see an amazing show with nice pits.

Yeah but we a talking post-death for life. so **** was average. and dan palmer was doing some wankering on the guitar for quite some time. but yeah they managed to bust out a few jems like death conspiracy, desperation train and no shirt, no shoes, no salvation. epitaph has truely destroyed death by stereo

Fall of Troy is amazing live. They played Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles AND What Sound Does a Mastadon Make when I saw them. Every Time I Die is awesome live. I saw them at Warped on the 1st and they seem to pick awesome setlists. Random fact, did anyone know The New Black in going in Guitar Hero 2? Chiodos is pretty awesome, too. Craig sounds better live than he does on the recordings.

Ugh, I want to see them so bad, the last time they came by with With honor, The Banner, and Walls of Jericho.

Unfortunately, I am in Windsor Canada, and they all played across the border in Detroit and couldn't get there
