Hi, a couple months ago my grandpa gave me this guitar, an Ovation Deluxe Balladeer 1512, i havent been able to gather any information on this guitar, the person my grandpa got this guitar from supposedly bought it for 1400 dollars a couple years ago, on a price chart i found it has the price for it, but only for the year 1984, not continuing each year like the others around it I dont know if these are still being made or what. i found the price for this one was almost 500 bucks in 1984, its an Acoustic/Electric but the electric system doesnt work. Also, somethings worng with the neck in which it bens up slightly (only noticible if you look closely) which makes it so it goes out of tune pretty quick.

my uncle gave me a number of a guy who could fix these but id rather just sell it off to make some money for my new guitar.

so can anyone get me some information or an estimate on what i could sell this for?

I can probbably get pictures if needed.

Also, to point out, it was made in the USA, not any other foreign country which is rare for Ovations (or so ive heard, i dont know how true it is)

thanks.

Also, if it i could get more money when i sell, it came with a nice Ovation hard case, i dont how much cases are going for or anything.

i might get everything fixed in it because icould probably get a lot more for it if i get it fixed.

Sounds like you just need to adjust the truss rod to bring the neck back in line.
