i try to like it, but i cant. its just so annoying. does anyone agree? and should i bother with the new album ?

Never liked Built to Spill, so my answer is going to be an obvious no...
The problem with asking that question is that you're going to either get people who love the band or dislike the band answering (most of the time). Pick up the Barry Adamson album instead - great stuff.

I love BTS and Doug's voice, but even if I didn't like his voice there is plenty going on musically that would still make it worth it. I don't know if it would be worth it for you though.

EDIT: Would this be your first album of theirs is you bought it?
