I need a new amp. i've een using a no name 10 watter for over a year now. I have $600 and I'm aiming for a 50-100 watt amp. What are the good ones? I've already set my eyes on a Schecter C1 Plus. I play mostly Hard Rock, so any suggestions? Oh yeah, the amp will be used frequently for gigging. I currently borrow amps from friends.

Thanks in Advance

you could probably get one for about 400-500 bucks. Its a combo tube amp, and it comes in 2X12 and 4X10 stacks

Roland Cube 60, i'm getting one soon, and its only 300-450

I went for a Fender FM212R. It's actually a pretty decent amp I'd say.

How's the Peavey Bandit 112?

Its actually pretty good sounding, At high levels it doesn't sound great but low levels it compares to the Triple XXX, The only thing the triple XXX really has over it is the fact that it can be cranked and still sound good.

I'm probably gonna use an effect board with it, if the clean channel sounds good, then I'm fine

It has a vintage/clean channel and it sounds decent. I was playing it at my friends today with his custom Schrecter.
