I'm sure a few of you have taken them for a spin. I'm kind of in "guitar *****" mode and just buying up and checkin' out a little bit of everything in the time being.

How similar is the neck on these in comparison to an Ibanez Wizard II or Presitege neck? Because if its similar I'm snatchin' one of these up here soon. These are beauties and made in the USA!

Check this puppy out, probably one of my favorite headstocks to, so refined and simple, yet very elegant in design and quality.

Right now, I'm not sure if I want a hardtail or a trem, might just get one of each depending on how I like the first one, but anyways give me some info.

I was set on just picking up a RG321Mh, but I might just get one of these instead now, and just pickup a RG1570 for my trem guitar. Of course these are MTO so I could get it with an OFR if I wanted.

From what i hear carvins make great guitars so its prolly worth the follow up, but when buying guitars i gotta play it before i buy it.

Well, I've looked at a lot of close up images of the neck and everything and it looks very similar to what Jackson and Ibanez have, actually more closer to Ibanez thats why I"m assuming and hopeing it is. Though I've heard from everyone the quailty one these things is insane, again it is more or less american custom guitars for an excellent price. I think these are like 700 or 800 something on their site, and their neck-thur customs are like $1000-1300...in other words VERY affordable for what they're offering.

Here's some more eye candy:

I read from somewhere that Jason Becker played them as his MAIN guitars, so I guess that has to say a little something.

What is it about them that you didn't like?

Oh, and trust me if I we're to get a trem model, I'd pay the extra $100 to have them throw a Original Floyd in there.

Awesome stuff. So, like I said I LOVE the feel of Ibanez, but I just am looking for something a bit more higher quality and also with a bit more range of colors, and style to my liking.

So, I'm not sure if you've played any Ibanez RG's but I really like those so I'm taking it these are just pretty much like an RG on crack, eh?

I hear great things about carvin, guitars, amps, and pups.

Besides Frank Zappa used them and praised them as the best he ever used, so I dont see whats not to like

Best of luck on your guitar search , BTW I've also been looking into carvins

Yeah Carvin guitars are sweet ass. Custom made, you specify what you want and can even meet who's gonna make your guitar. They don't sell in shops either so are cheaper.
Looking to buy a Fender Jagstang, u sellin?
