How would I go about putting LEDs in my pickup cavities?

I want a glow around my pickups like so:

What do I need and how would I install it?

you'd need led's all around each pickup, and batteries that you could hook them up to. i would make sure the pup cavities are big enough, but you'd probably have to attach the batteries externally, and rout holes for the wires to go through. thats a cool idea though.

I figured I would put it through the holes in which the pickup wires go through and have the battery(ies) in the back cavity.

^seeing it being done to other guitars, why not?

if you have an active bass/guitar, you can wire it upto the +9 and ground of the preamp, and then it will only come on when you put the jack in.

Whats it with everybody all of a sudden wanting LED's in their guitars?

It's the trend these days or something, I'm just stickin' to what I want.

Put some crap in the hole, like something sticky. And liquid-ish.
