Let's talk about your guitar/amp/pedals/setup aka your gear in here. Brag about your rig. What's good and what sucks? Not restricted to guitar, either (Dai ). I'll start.

Schecter C-1 Plus

Totally worth the $530 bucks. 24 Jumbo frets, Pearl Inlays, Rosewood Fingerboard, Set Neck, 24 3/4 scale, Mahogany / Flame Maple body, Grover Tuners, Duncan Designs. It was my first "real" guitar (not a ****ty ripoff washburn), had it for about 4 years, still in great shape, sounds great too. Got it before all the a7x kids started worshipping these guitars.

Ibanez RGT42DXBP

Neck Thru and a Floyd Rose Tremolo is all you need to know. Had this baby since Christmas and I've been more than happy with it.

Marshall MG250DFX

Don't bother with this ****, it sounds like a bass amp. Whenever I'd jam with someone their amp would always overpower mine. Let's just say I'm saving for a new one.

My pedals are a digitech and a metalzone, lol.

Before I completely gave up on playing an instrument besides my mouth, I used an Ibanez JTK through a Peavy amp. I also played a Ibanez bass for awhile through an SWR combo. When I played keyboard I used a Yamaha.

YOU WON'T.

B-52 AT-100 - awesome amp, great distortion channels and an awesome clean channel. you can get a good crunch and great hardcore/metal tone.

Fender Standard Strat - yes you can use strats for hardcore/metal. mine doesnt sound too bad anyway.

Ibanez RG 1570 - i cant wait to get a tremel-no so i can put this into drop D or drop C . but it is an amazing guitar, plays unbelievably fast and has great tone.

I have my Epi Les Paul standard in a honey burst finish. That was my first guitar. Its pretty much beat to **** by now.

Then i have my baby, Bernard. my Ltd EC-1000 Deluxe. See-through Black Cherry finish. paid 740$ for it. its amazing. my girlfriend named it Bernard when i got it and for some reason it stuck. damn it.

And my amp is a MG100HDFX half stack. sorry. I'm saving for a framus cobra though.

I got a strat, trying to get myself hands onto a C1. Had to find in Britain for some reason

My strat can do posi hardcore alright - but the heavy tones can't get heavy though and it sounds a little Nu-Metally. Eitherway - it's still a decent guitar

Anyhoo - my amp is a MG30DFX. Like Gommorah says - it sounds crap. Do not bother on the MG series - the only good reviews on it on UG are by newbies.

Ohh - please be aware - this is a rig of a 15 year old (16 in September) who doesn't have money to go all over the place and has only got into hardcore this year/last yearish.

My Geddy Lee J-Bass sounds great when I use a pick but it's a bitch in regards to downtuning(I can barely tune down to C without the strings floppin' all around)

My Mike Dirnt P-Bass sounds even better with the pick(Obviously, looking at the artist who uses it) and can downtune and stay there much better. It's easy to get that "In Your Face" kinda sound. Also,it's much more durable and takes a beating better than my J-Bass

My Fender Bassman 100 does what it needs to do just fine(I'm saving up for a halfstack though, seeing as my guitar player just got a Peavey one and you can barely hear me)

My Big Muff is good, but I don't really see stuff like that in hardcore:\

This is my very first electric guitar, its a entry level model just for me to practise on.

Guitar - Peavey Raptor EXP Plus
Amp - Peavey Rage 158 (15 watt)

I wanna get an FX pedal soon but I don't know yet!

I use one of these Ibanez S470's, I removed the single coil in the middle though.

I also use one of these, it's a dark green however.

I have a Crate Gx-600 head, with a custom 4x12 cabinet that my uncle and I made and assorted pedals.

2 of those and 2 of these

and one of these

and one of these

I play in a bass/drums/vox grind band, so my rig has to be big.

I have a few pedals too: EHX Pog, DigiDelay, Boss ODB-3.

Nah, compared to the old Mesa/Boogie cabs I had they're nothing. The 2 boogies i had weight like, 150 lbs each where as these way 55lbs and 65lbs each, and we have a nice van to put them all in too.

Edit: Zeldar, it puts out 300 watts all tube.

Well, Schecter C-1 Artist limited edition for a guitar. Yes the same as ThisPerishedMin. I don't know anyone who bought the guitar new, and I don't know anyone who has it that doesn't love it. Mine had a few good years of use and abuse on it before I got it and I love it. I have a Marshall MG100DFX combo, and I've gotten some good cruch out of it, you just have to know how to use it. I also have a Boss CS3 compression which sucks donkey balls, most worthless purchase ever, and don't ever run it in a effects loop it sloshes the gain. I run amps effects though (flanger, chorus, delay, reverb) and they sound good. Gain, Bass, Treb all at 10, Mids at 4.

question for you, if you use any of the positions on the switch that use the bridge, do you get horrible feedback? i cant decide if its just the pickup int he guitar or if my bridge pup wasnt properly sealed from the factory? either way its getting replaced..its just a curiousity thing now...
