Marshall MG100, about $650 aus. Realiable, sick distortion, extremely loud.

Advanced Valvestate Technology huh?

lol yeah...slappin' a Marshall logo on a tin can with a toilet paper speaker attatched to it and sellin' it for that price sure is advanced technology.

hahahaha

Retards.

He's got no price range, and he's looking for a good amp, not for a shite solid state POS.

Threadstarter, go valve. And you won't need 100watts, get a 50watt valve head or something, what sounds are you looking for from an amp?

Well i play mostly punk rock and rock and want a pretty decent sound that can give me a wide variety from gentle rock to metal to punk rock and it should have a pretty decent tone and i'd like it big enough to gig with. i do not have a price range just looking for a heads up in whta i should look out for in the future.

No but seriously...if you want a good Marshall tone that can do basically everything really check into a JCM900. You can retube it to do anything you want (more vintage, more modern..etc.) but it will still have that 'Marshall tone'.
