These guitars are made to the same specs as the original, and I know that they don't get the same level of detail as the custom shops but are they actually as good as the Strats built in the era they replicate? Like will an AV 62 Strat sound like and feel like the real thing?

Are they truly really good quality, probably a better buy than the American Deluxe?

im sure they could be as close as possible but nothing can really replicate a guitar built in a certain decade.

nope, wood changes, metal rust, wires get old

well i would take a vintage over a deluxe as i dont need all the fancy stuff but you can have either as theyre truly both great guitars

Won't be exactly the same, but they'll beat a lot of other guitars trying to nail the originals.

Play some, see for yourself.

I tried a 70s AV Strat today
ugly ass natural finish but the finish on top, the clearcoat or whatever was nice.. the neck looked nice to. That nitro gives it a real high class look

does it make the neck sticky though?
