I just made an order last night for a Boss DS1 distortion pedal and a Dunlop Original Crybaby Wah Pedal from musicians friend.com

Now I normally don't move any of my guitar stuff...just play in the basement but I am now out of spots on my 6 outlet power strip.

so I'm looking into pedal boards

I have seen Roland makes a cord that will power like 6 or 8 boss pedals but this wont help me.

The boss distortion and Crybaby wah both run on different voltages.

Boss 9.6V

Dunlop 9V

Now I'm looking to power both these pedals with one adapter, can that be done?

Are there some pedal boards that are cheap that will allow me to plug both of these in?

If all else fails I can always make a cord up but that's only if i can use one of these adapters to power both pedals.

.6V isn't much of a change between the 2 but it could be hazardous to electronic pedals....not sure about that one though

Thanks

You don't need a pedal board for just 2 pedals....
Just get a 9Vpower supply and a daisy chain and connect it to both pedals, both pedals run at the same voltage, and the jack sizes are the same too (I know, I've got a Crybaby and 3 Boss pedals, all boss AC jacks are the same)

You should be ables to power them off the same adapter without trouble. Just make sure the polarity of the DC jack is the same on each of them.
When running it off a battery you get even greater difference in voltages.

You can get a daisy chain cable to hook up multiple pedals to the same power supply

Thanks for all the info, i ordered a power supply for both but ill use the higher voltage one for any tiny voltage drop there may be.

Get a Visual Sound 1 Spot Power Adapter. At MusiciansFriend.com you can get a bundle that has the power adapter and daisy chain. I just bought one and I get absolutely no hum. So that'll cut down the number of spots you need on the 6 outlet power strip to 1 or 2.

x2 on the 1 spot adapter. no noise powers a bunch of pedals. u also need the daisy chain. its about $30something.

or u can get this for $60. it powers the pedals, is portable and the board isnt bad.
mine also makes no noise.
