On the Road by Traffic, ABB at Fillmore East, Past Lives by Black Sabbath, and some copy of Santana and Buddy Miles live that I got from my dad. These are the current favorites.

How the West was Won has some good moments, but I have a mix of the best stuff on one cd; I don't like everything on all 3 of the discs.

I have to second:
Ten Years After - Fillmore
Stones - YaYa's
Rory Gallagher - Irish Tour
Band Of Gypsies - Fillmore
The Doors - Live

and that Santana/Buddy Miles thing, I've been thinking about picking it up, but I always end up getting something else. Is it worth it?

it's a shame, that album could have been 12093128 times better then it is now.

My favorites are:
Rolling Stones- Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out (one of the best live albums ever)
Neil Young- Live Rust
Yes- Yessongs
Led Zeppelin- TSRTS (I love Celebration Day)
Joe Walsh- You Can't Argue With A Sick Mind
Rush- Exit...Stage Left

Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.

I think it's worth it. The first two songs are good, but the middle is where it picks up for me.The version of Evil Ways has a lot more energy than the original, imo. There's something on it called Faith Interlude, which is a cool little two minute bit, then a good version of Them Changes. The ending is a long jam (pretty sure it's mostly in Em)... just the name alone, "Free Form Funkadelic Filth" is great. It's around 20 minutes long I think, but if you're into that sort of thing it's cool.

Overall, if you like the old style of Santana's latin-rock, and would like to hear it with what I consider to be improved singing and a horn section to boot, pick it up and give it a listen.
