17 - 19 year olds, nothing too heavy please
why would they want to hear classic rock? are they paying to be there or is this some sort of regimented attendance?

Classic rock changes as time goes by I hear Van Halen, Sabbath , GnR. AC/DC on the Classic Rock station now but 20 years ago you wouldnt, youd hear Cream, Procol Harum, Mammas and the Papas, 3 Dog Night and moldy crap like that. I dont consider any metal from Sabbath and forward to be Classic Rock and never will. To me Classic Rock is 1968 and before.

Play some Sabbath, Nugent, Boston, Kiss, AC/DC. Aeorsmith

Back in Black is a good one.

Hell Yes! I'm listening to it at the moment..
But I doubt he has a strong enough vocalist...

Anywho,
More than likely you are gonna bore those college students to death if you play almost any "traditional" classic rock..
Try some Ac/dC or Sabbath...

Otherise go with some Grunge or Modern rock...

I'd do Funk #49, mainly just to see the crowd's reaction, it'd be either "This is gay." or "DAYUM, dey goooood."
