I think the slot for my g string on my old strat copy is too deep, as when the open G is played it sounds "plinky", like fret buzz kinda but not.. I cant adjust the action as the bridge is absolutely **** (I will eventually get round to replacing this though) so I dont know if its just an action problem or what.. what do you think? The slot does look a tad lower than the B string so I thought I should fill it in a bit so its the same depth, with some superglue and plastic dust/shavings mixed together? A good idea?
Yeah, white glue and those shaving shoudl do it.
or you could use a piece of match stick like paul mcartney does
