Mix and match? I see different people with say...a marshal cab or some kind and peavey head? How does that work? Are there tube cabinets...or does it just depend on the head? What if I buy the Crate G412 100W and then buy...say A valveking 100 head...whats the turn out (Not saying im going to buy that or anything)..and how does the tube head effect the whole amp...Im kind of lost on this.

Is it cheaper to buy diff heads and cabs? Or Buy like the same set...Im trying to find a nice stack for around 400 500 or so. I hear bad things about the MG models that marshal puts out...but for 599 thats not to bad. But I'am trying to stay in the tube amp area

As long as the wattage and OHMs match, you can mix and match any cab and any head; but each cab will sound different with each head.

No. Wattages don't match.
