I'm probably gunna sell my line 6 spider 2 and get a marshall, preferrably a bluesy one. suggestions?
#3
i have a marshall avt 150 watt half stack that cost more than twice what my line 6 did and i prefare the line 6
#5
Look for a used one, I just bought a JCM 800 in good shape for 600. That's about the only way you will find an affordable "Marshall".

every marshall i played wasn't even suitable for rock, IMO.

but to help, i think a fender deville would be a better suggestion, maybe a pedal as well.

EDIT: except for the JCM 800's and 900's

^you are mentally retarded if you cant get an all tube marshall to do rock^the jcm2000s are a little too metal for me though

look at jcm800's, they will be your best bet for marshall, but you could get a new fender of some kind which would be good for blues too

a fender deville or fender hotrod deluxe should both be good, and you could get a tubescreamer to boost it to for more gain, the jcm800 is god when it comes to classic rock though and will be great for blues too

2: Nah, I like a big hard throbbing wet c*ck and...

\verbal bitch slap, yet again.

because we all know hendrix and page were far from bluesy.

/verbal bitchslap

threadstarter: check out a used jcm 800 OR jcm 900 combo. preferably an 800, as it will be closer to the vintage jmps/jmts found in early blues rock artists arsenals.

Look for a used Marshall Bluesbreaker/1962 (JTM45) and a JCM800 or 900.

^Bluesbreakers are awesome for blues. But i can get a really nice hard blues sound of my JCM900 (Like Led Zep, Cream and so on).

I second Gabel. I've got a jcm 600 which is basically a jcm900 in a 60 watt 2x12 format, and it can get incredible blues tones with the master over half way and the gain on 2-4/20... You can get this at humane volumes too, as it's easy to keep the channel volume down.

Good luck on getting a new amp.
