I am a vocalist who don't know how to play guitar and is trying to learn. I have these melodies in my head and I want to play it in guitar yet I do not know how. What do you suggest me learning how to play these melodies in my head? How should I play these melodies? What exercises/study do I have to do to learn to do this? and how should I create melodies using the guitar?

Do you have formal musical training (like reading music, scales and such)? If you do, then write down the notes you sing, then find those notes on the fretboard. That's a start...or, find someone who does read music and have them write it down for you.

Open up sound recorder and hum the riff. Then try to match it on your guitar.

Hope this helps
