I am thinking about buying a new marshall amplifier... I love the sound of a JCM 800, but it's a onechannel amp! I have to be able to play clean and distorted in the same song when playing live... How do I solve this problem ? I prefer not using any effektpedal to fake the distortion :P :S

You could use your volume knob on guitar. JCM800's clean up quite nicely this way.
#3
You could also get an amp just for cleans and run both through an A/B/Y switch.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Or you could get a 2 channel Marshall JCM800...

You could also use overdrive pedals to get the gain you want, then switch off to have cleans.

And play a few more amps before you decide.

^Can't remember the model names, but there's a combo one, and there's a head one too, look on eBay for one that has more knobs than usual...

I live in Norway.... Its inpossible to find something like that in this country, and the amps in the stores (witch there is very few to choose between) are way to expensive for me...

This, my good friend, is why I wont play without a volume pedal live, ony of my main gigging amps is a JTM45 and to clean it up simply roll the volume down.

2210s are great you just have to find a footswitch since they dont come with them usually
