My first 'true' metal song was Enter Sandman, then I later went on to learn Graveyard Disciples by BLS.

I also learned some nu-metal/metalcore songs during my phase in that.

I'm currently working on Silent Night, Bodom Night by CoB... tough but fun!

First riff and first metal riff are the same, the very opening riff from "One".
Then the first metal song I learned all the way through (at least rhythm) was Seek and Destroy, also by metallica.
#28
fully learnt was probably a crappy rendition of Enter sandman. but id say the first metal song i know fully and can pull off well is Hammer smashed face.

First metal riff was probably Fade to Black or Iron Man.

First full song was either Master of Puppets or Iron Man.

Jesus was all like "To those about to rock, I salute you." then he grabbed his mighty axe and rocked the Romans out really hard. Of course they were strict classical music so....
