Howdy all, I was looking around for some pickups for my first guitar project, and I came upon the GFS line of pickups from www.guitarfetish.com. Does anyone have any experience with these and are they worth the rediculously low price tag?

Any help would be, well, helpful, and I would love to be able to use these things since I'm on a real tight budget (trying not to spend more than $400)

Cheers!

They are good for project guitars, you'll be pleased. I've heard some of the strat pickups and a tele one.
Love in technicolour, sprayed out on walls
Well I've been pounding at the pavement
'Til there's nothing at all
I got my cloak and dagger

How about the Humbuckers?

And is their hardware any good?

I don't know about the humbuckers but I bought a set of hot alnico staggered single coils (set for $54) for my G&L and it made a huge difference. Excellent pickups, not just for the money. However considering the price they're a steal.
It's a fine line between clever and stupid.
