As with noise gates etc, eg isp decimator, is it better to get a rackmounted unit or a pedal? is there a difference in what kind of noise they eliminate? is one better than the other?

Thanks

pedal is cheaper and more convinient. for quality, im not sure.

true, but thats true of any effect.

ive never used a rack noise gate, but i don't think theres a huge difference.

Im really not too sure about the differences, but i do believe the rackmount is better.

As far as pros using the NS-2, the only one ive heard of is waybe static...he also uses marshall mgs.
