I bought an Alvarez RF20SC guitar and the action is pretty high, making playing uncomfortable. The saddle is very low yet the action is high. The neck angle is fine. However the truss rod does not have enough relief. Now before I have my teacher or someone who knows what they are doing adjusts the truss rod, wouldn't the action be raised if more relief is put on the truss rod? Does anybody know what the problem is here?
just get the guy to do your truss rod and you should be fine, if you know what your doing, just do it yourself
so once a professional puts more relief on the truss rod? the strings will be lowered?
just tell the guy it needs adjusting so the action is lower and he will do it for you
