can anyone help me with these questions..

1) what are the adv & disadv of bolt on neck & glued on neck?

1. For a beginner I dont think it matters but this might help : http://www.edromanguitars.com/tech/neckconstruction.htm

2. Nomal pickups give a crisp clean sound with a little buzz or hum. By joining two pickups in parallell this hum can be removed giving a deeper raw rock style sound. also: http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLJ,GGLJ:2006-25,GGLJ:en&q=define%3a+humbucker

if you have a set neck, and you drop the guitar and the neck breaks..youre screwed. itll be way way expensive to fix it or to buy a new guitar. for bolt on, if it breaks, you can just buy another one and put it on.

actually if you have a bolt on and you drop the guitar you might damage the bolt mounting meaning expensive repairs to avoid a loose neck and naff tone. So I think the moral is, dont drop your guitar
Decent guitar stand and a hard case for moving it, plus a strap and a bit of care and you should be alright.... failing that your house insurance covers accidental damage doesn't it?

hahaha, yeah. strap locks are very important. a few bucks for those saved me a lot of money many times
