Why is called a distortion pick-up?

Is it active or passive?

Would it fit on an Ibanez Iceman ICX220?

It's a high gain, passive pickup, that will fit in your Iceman. It'll probably sound a lot better than an Invader too.
I will show you something different from either
Your shadow in the morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you
I will show you fear in a handful of dust

High gain responce??

Does that mean it like if i put it on clean through my amp it wud give a distotion sound?

And if i had it on distortion it would be TOO distorted?

No, it means that it has high output and it is equalized to sound good with distortion. Normally, most distortion designated pickups would sound 'meh'-ish at best on clean channels due to their high output.
Dyer's Eve is awesome, and has an abnormally large penis, which doesn't act as any hinderance to his everyday life despite its freakishly large size.

^ yes.

Haven't tried the distortion, but EVERY duncan I have tried (quite a few, now) I've been unimpressed with.

Swineys for the win. They're cheaper, and better. It's win-win.

Assuming you like them.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
