Add a floyd rose to your current Epi LP.. it's the best way to go if you don't want to spend too much I'd say. just stick with what you've got and keep adding.

yeah but what if he breaks a string during a set? aha!..not a good idea IMO. id say look into some jacksons...im in the same position as you right now. so if you find anything, if you could let me now it'd be great.

I believe you might find an Ibanez RG model with a FR on it for between 300-400 bucks. Not positive tho, but worth looking into.

Rondo has a shedload of FR guitars (including a pretty nice looking Universe/JEM style), no idea about the trem quality on those, though. Check HC reviews, there are deals to be had.

^rondomusic.net has some (and from what Curt said they are pretty good)

,but any ibanez sawilll work , seeing as they dont go out of tune if you break a string and if setup they don't go out of tune

Stop calling the flippin' floating tremolos Floyd Roses. They are not Floyd Roses. They are licensed ones and or Ibanez trems (Edge Pro, ZR or whatever, Edge II, Edge III). I hate it whn people call them Floyd Roses, just because they were the first ones doesnt mean its what they're called, its like when people say kleenex, its a tissue!

I suggest a Jackson RR3, $800 maximum it'll cost you.

Ibanez RG1570, $800 maximum.

Jackson KVX10 King V, $600 maximum.

Jackson RX10D, $600 maximum.

I suggest the Ibanez RG1570 if you play all around stuff. If you play metal/hard rock then I suggest the Jackson RR3. The other two are of lower quality (Only the pickups as they are Duncan designed, not the real thing).

well really we should be calling them floyd rose bridges since floyd rose is a guitar company but seriously who gives two ****s and we are allowed to call it a floyd rose because thats what it is
