i've heard alot of agile guitars, but i was curious to know, would one of these be good for metal? they proble need a pickup swap but for such a low price its worth it. any input on these guitars? and what pickups? i hear EMGs 99.9% of the time so i'll proble expect alot of those. thanks!

no replies? damn.

i was also looking at the ibanez sz series. i really like the 720. but for that price, i could buy an ESP 400 series with active EMGs....hmm...

I'm about to order a blue quilt version of the AL-2800, and from what I've heard they sound good, so I'm gonna give it a week or two before I consider changing the pickups I think.

Pretty good guitars, I'd personally take the flame, but thats just me

What amp are you running it through? EMGs only really shine on a nice tube amp.

Because you can compare a $400 guitar to a $3000 guitar.

Of course it won't compare to a Gibson, but it blows the hell out of most Epiphones from my experiences. The only Epiphones I would pick over an Agile would be from the Elitist series.
