Any of his fans here? Saw him finally Saturday night. THe man has such charisma that he'll have you singing songs you haven't heard before, like "Dirty Diamonds." I'll post a concert review later on UG, but for now, just an Alice Cooper discussion thread.

Actually, last Saturday, July 1st, thus making it this month.
Yeah, his daughter's pretty hot, she dressed like Paris Hilton, then the dog bites her in the neck, blah blah blah I get sprayed with 'blood,' great show.

A few of my friends went to see him (without me)
They said the live sound is really amazing, and he puts on some of the best stage shows they've ever seen.

I think that Alice Cooper had some very classic songs, ex. School's Out etc. But more than anything I think he was so big just because he was a novelty act.

Novelty act? Would you die Billy Badass?
People like Alice Cooper because his songs and vocals are amazing plus he puts on a show, not just live music, he is an entertainer, not a novely act! -.|.. ..|.-

^And he was doing 'dark' songs in the sixties, before bands like Black Sabbath and BOC, in reality, Cooper originated heavy metal.

Glad to see this thread back and going.

I remember so many great things at Cooper's show. I actually met eyes with him which was pretty awesome, I got sprayed with blood, saw the bassist and drummer after the show too. The drummer was kind of a pr*** though, but the bassist was a really nice guy.

I'm going to the Stones concert in Halifax next month and I heard a rumor that Alice is opening for them. I really hope so as I missed him when he was in St. John's NL earlier this year. Have never seen either in concert and am so excited to see them both. It's going to be awesome.

He does quite a bit from 'Welcome To My Nightmare' and 'Killer' in his current shows.

Cool. I was never a big Alice fan until recently a friend really turned me on to him and Welcome to my Nightmare is probably my fav.
