GG7 getting there....

...and so is the GG6...

You'll note that there are no screws in the neck at this point. I like my neck joints tight.

Now, Graham Greene was Endorsed by Ibanez. He had his pick of the range, and played for more that 15 years with their best guitars. His main three were an RG through neck, a JEM, and a Universe UV777 swirl.

Graham gave up that endorsement deal to buy these guitars. In return for this display of faith, i made him an endorsee of my own.

When Graham and i started discussing these guitars, he couldnt take himself away from some of the features he had grown used to with the Ibanez's, so i incorporated some of those items, and improved on the original designs they used. Will take me forever to go through them, and there really isnt any point, but here are some photos...

Usually my logos are shell, but i just didnt have time to do them for these models. Being a 'signature model' means there is every chance i have to build more exactly the same. I opted for holographic film (GG7) and gold (GG6) logos this time.

You'll notice the GG6's hardware and body colours match the inlay colour scheme. Same goes for the GG7

Pickups are JB and 59 Seymour Duncans.

Tremolos are Floyd Rose Originals

Graham lost the use of his left arm in 2003. It took two years to heal enough to even hold a guitar neck, then he had to relearn the instrument....

Just before the accident, he released an instrumental album titled "Club Voodoo". Unfortunately, because of the accident, he couldn't support the album with touring.

His answer to this was "Leap of Face", released last month
If you are in Australia, the latest AUSTRALIAN GUITAR magazine has a sample track on the cover CD, and im sure there will be another next issue also.

I wish I had some money to have a guitar like that I can always dream... and just wondering how much would one of those guitars cost roughly.

I even tried dressing up as a fly myself, and throwing myself out of the window in the hope that they will follow me. But to no avail.

no, i build whatever people ask me to make, just that the majority of clients lately are metalheads. Once one local metalhead got one, they all ordered them There is some really really amazing stuff coming next year, gotta get through the more standard stuff first.
