I bought a guitar some weeks ago it sounds great but i dont know anything about it.
If anyone knows something please tell me...Im interessted in the year it was build and what kind of pickups are in.

looks like the epiphone version of a hollow bodied es335 or something from around the late 50's to late 60's era of gibson guitars

it looks like an epiphone es335. i would think its from the 70s or late 60s

Look for a serial number, should either be on a label inside, or on the headstock.

Theres loads of internet sites that will give you details on when the guitar was built and model details from the serial number if you google it.

I'm I'm not mistaken-

Its an epiphone shearton.. maybe a shearton 2

It looks a lot like it

my guess is its not a standard dot.. but an artist model of some sort

I tried to find a serial number but there i no label inside and no number on the head but the guitar looks very old. It seems like spiders lived in the body
And it has a solid sutain block...perhaps that might help

I think a sheraton is a bit deeper or not? mine is only 5 cm deep.

It's an old-model Sheraton.

Epiphone became a branch of Gibson in '57.... So it's after that.

Any ideas on how long they marked them "Epiphone by Gibson" ?
