Hey, im currently customizing my Squier and i was wondering could someone please tell me what needs to be done to change the pickups from S-S-S to H-S-H. This is my first encounter with wiring so im not sure how it all works. Any help would be much appreciated!!

You'll need to route it(cut holes in the body so the pups fit), once you do that, it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out.

The guitar has a universal kind of route, will it still need rerouting? and thanks for the link!

Do you mean the holes are big enough for Humbuckers?

If that's what you mean, then no further routing is necesarry.

Sweet! I'm gonna do the same thing except with EMG 81 and 60 with a 3 way switch and killswitch in the middle! It's gonna be pretty tricky.

What kind of pickups are you gonna use?

If you want individual tone control, ut the tone knobs between the pup and the switch, rather than after the switch.
