Throw the 'Blue Note' (flattened 5th) into pentatonic solos. Also mix up major and minor pentatonics, or just randomly play a major third amidst a minor sequence. Do it right and it will be pure sex. Do it wrong and it'll be pure sh*t. Trial and error, yeah?
