guitar pro (not pro guitar) does let you put drumming on its pretty damn good too. make a new track on it and select percussion

recording using a microphone? bad cos drum kits need like at least 5 to sound half decent.

if you insist on doin it you need to record onto like windows media player or creativemedia source, thats what i use and i record guitar onto it.

GP5, what i use, doesnt record that i know of which is a pain in the butt really but ya no

What i do when i want to record a song with a drum track from guitar pro ,either a file i dl from UG or a drum track I made.With a file from Ug you need to mute all the instuments you want to record i.e. guitar 1 and 2, Mabey bass? w/e. then when you have isolated the drum track you can export it into a wav format. From there open your favorite recording prog and import the wav and then plug ni your axe and playalong. Im sure they have all this covered in a more detailed way soemwere on here.
