I'm going to make a stratocaster in my woodshop class next year, and I want to put a hardtail bridge on it, (like this http://store.guitarfetish.com/chhabrfortea.html), and I was just wondering how I would install it, as opposed to a tremelo bridge like my other strats have... I'm not very knowledgable about guitars even though I've been playing for 9 years. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

well if your going to have a string through design (you put the strings in from the back of the guitar), you need to leave the guitar body with no bridge cavity. then mark out where you want the bridge and drill the holes for the screws to hold it on. then drill right through the body for the string holes.
