The temper'ture's rising and you feel it all,
as all of their stares make you feel so small.
But it's time to look up, look up at the sky,
and stop your life from becoming a lie.

An' when my time has passed, you will turn your back and
ask what it was, what it's like, how it feels,
to be lost in the dark as reality peels.
But will you move on, or will you simply,
stay in one place as they all fall from grace, will sit
in the hall an' watch us all fall.

They've knocked you down, down to your knees,
but you must get up and never be pleased.
You can't change so stand your ground,
'cause what's lost today just about to be found.

An' when my time has passed, you will turn your back and
ask what it was, what it's like, how it feels,
to be lost in the dark as reality peels.
But will you move on, or will you simply,
stay in one place as they all fall from grace, will sit
in the hall an' watch us all fall.

They've crossed the line over a dozen times,
an' they've beaten you down, down through the ground.
It's time to stand, and never back down,
show them your pride, you have nothin' to hide.

An' when my time has passed, you will turn your back and
ask what it was, what it's like, how it feels,
to be lost in the dark as reality peels.
But will you move on, or will you simply,
stay in one place as they all fall from grace, will sit
in the hall an' watch us all fall.
