Learn a few wah solos, for one thing. That'll get you well acquainted with the thing. I remember I had the worst time with hand-foot coordination the first couple weeks I had my wah. Let me see what comes to mind right off the top of my head:
Metallica - "Enter Sandman"
Black Sabbath - "Electric Funeral"
Judas Priest - "Victim of Changes"
David Lee Roth - "Yankee Rose" [<--DAMN fun!]
Led Zeppelin - "Custard Pie"
I know those don't all really hover in the same difficulty bracket, but I was just thinking of anything wah in general; some of those may be harder than others. But whatever, they're still good practice.

"Electric Funeral" - wah's in the intro. I haven't listened to it for a long time, so I can't remember if it's anywhere else. I'm 100% sure it's in the intro, though.
"Enter Sandman" - the entire solo is wah-tastic. It's not too hard, either, so it's great practice if you're new to the wah.

if you're playing a straight rhythm, rocking it back and forth is a good place to start. For leads, I like to use it to accentuate bends a lot. Hit a nice bend, vibrato it, and slam the wah foward! Also, make a face like you just had a cactus shoved into your rectal cavity!

Well 2 that are good for new players to the wah i used were
1. Pick a cetrain 3-6 note patern and play it repetitively as fast as you can while slowing rocking the wah foward then back.
2. Just tap your foot to the bpm like you normally would but on the wah as your playing.

Keep practicing, that's all really, until you get a natural flow for it.
