I did some small damage to the side of my gibson les paul studio near the strap pin and found this.....

does anyone know if this will work well to fix the slight finish damage or where i can find on of these online because i have looked everywhere. my finish is wine red btw. ill post a pic as soon as i upload it....thanks

yeah dude go for it. of course it will work. all they need to do is put the same ink in the pen as they do to paint their guitars so there is no way it will screw up your finish

Check to see if your local music shop will order it for you... AFAIK it is not something most shops will carry on hand to sell... they may have it for if they are doing work on guitars though (Repair)

Well, They used to show the touch up pens on Gibson's site in the accessories section, it had the part numbers and they give you a link to their retail supplier, but alas they no longer carry any Gibson accessories, when I spoke to Customer service they said that they were working on an outlet to sell the accessories and gear etc.
