25.5" - Strat style guitars

24.75" - Gibson style guitars, Les Paul shapes

For standard tuning i use 25" and for drop tunings i like 25.5" just for that little bit of extra tension.

doesnt it have something to do with the bridge type and angle? instead of just sayin gibson generally uses blah blah n ****? coz thats what i learned generally trems need a lil more and the neck angles play a role with everything... confusin ****

otherwise i'd say 24.75 which is what i currently got on ma guitar

i like gibson scale length and the strat scale length equally.

I like 25.5 cuz I'm more used to it, but I work my way around a 24.75 well enough too I guess. I pretty much prefer 24.75 for rhythm type deals and 25.5 for leady teals, but it's all good.

I havne't played a 25".
