basically my ibanez has a terrible floyd rose wannabe tremelo and when a restringed it and tuned it i noticed the bridge was at a 45 degree angle. i can get it to lay flat on the body but i have to loosen the strings a bunch. i would really like to start using my whammy more often so any help to this problem would be a big help thanks.

theres some springs in the back of your guitar, and theres a claw with two screws, which holds the springs. tighten the springs until it pulls flat, and loosen the strings as it goes, as the tension with tighten them.

There is the possibility that I may have or may or may not have gone or not gone into the danger zone.

Get a guitar without a Floyd Rose. They're simply awful and too much of a hassle in my opinion. I know, I had an ESP with a Floyd Rose and the thing pissed me off too much.
