Is there any way to determine string spacing on a disassembled Strat copy? I'm modding it, and I need a new bridge, but I don't know which spacing to buy. I have the old bridge, and the body with the holes for the bridge (6 of them, it's tremolo). Is it possible to determine string spacing just by measuring the bridge or the holes in the body? Thanks in advance.
Oh crap!

i suppose you would measur distance between 2 saddles (the exact spot where the string rests)

possibly your old bridge may have a model or part number on it so you can look it up on google
-Ibanez SAS36FM
-B.C. Rich Warcock Platinum Edition (my first guitar, noob mistake)
-Roland Cube-30

Measure between the two 'e' mounting holes.
Then most places say what this distance is.
