Not sure what brand guitars these are. Their both probably crappy though.

check out the pics! What brand is the electric? and what brand is the acoustic? On the acoustic it says Nova I guess that's the brand. I got (well my dad) bought the acoustic for 30 bucks lol.

Says *ion on the electric. NOVA on the inside of the acoustic guitar. Damn I just realized how ****ing pointless this thread was.

Haha, yeah, it would sure seem that way.

Well, if I find myself still practicing on these guitars for another 6 or so months then I'll consider buying a better one.

If I were you, I'd go for a better amp, then get a better guitar. Here is a list of items that you'll be happy to own as you progress, I would reccomend getting an amp first. I'm assuming you don't have alot of cash, so this is the best stuff you'll find in the price range, enjoy.
Amps
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Vox-Valvetronix-AD15VT-15W-Guitar-Combo?sku=481958-Nice amp for just about everything.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Vox-Valvetronix-AD30VT-30W-Guitar-Combo?sku=481959Bigger version of AD15VT, has more features.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Roland-Cube-15-1x8-15W-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=480022-Good for metal and heavily distorted sounds.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Roland-Cube-30-1x10-30W-with-COSM-and-EFX-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=480023-Bigger version of cube 15, once again, more features.

Guitars
http://www.rondomusic.net/al2000hsbf.html-Good LP copy, don't be fooled, 10x better than any Epiphone in it's price range.
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Vintage-G400-Electric-Guitar?sku=518669-Great SG, has a cheaper finsh, but still sounds as good as the regular G-400.

I think so, Brain, but where would we buy rubber pants at this hour?

lol

There should be a name on the headstock of the electric. That's the brand name of the electric.

As for the acoustic, just inside the soundhole, oh, about, 6 inches in there, there should be a sticker with the brand name on it. If you're lucky, maybe even a serial number.

Don't post stuff like this again, please.
