Setting price aside, what's the most user friendly, high quality recording software you can get?

The most user friendly.....Audacity. But its not that powerful. I use Cubase LE, which is simple to set up, easy to run, but it can record up to 32 (i think) tracks, with 4 being recorded simultaneously. I think audacity only records one at a time.

EDIT:Im selling Cubase LE at the moment, if your interested?

I love Cubase SX.
I agree that Audacity is the most user-friendly though.

Cubase SX rocks, but its waaay too overpriced for what it does.

I'd buy it off you, but I'm getting a deal off a guy in a local music shop. He can hook me up with any software I want on my next purchase as long as it's over 600.

Well, almost.
