41 years. Got my first baby @ 13 years old (1964) and have been hooked ever since. Lost my first wife because of music and almost lost this one back in the 80's due to "GUITAR-JEALOUSY". Women LOVE Guitarists but get jealous when they live with one for awhile...
Now running an Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 10.3.3 - it's amazing and I'm having ball with it - worth every penny. PT 10 is tops IMO and the Eleven Rack is a work of art!

about a year and a half since i've really been practicing. prior to last august i'd say i only practiced maybe 6 hours a week, now its up to about 9-10 a day 4 days a week, and 2-3 the other 3 days.

two years.... although I pretty much gave up on playing electric after about a year and concentrated on acoustic.

.....though I've been flirting with the idea of picking up the electric again.

Glad someone's here in my age group.

I got my first guitar for xmas in 1960 when I was 10 years old and started my first surf band in 1965.

"sigh", such fun then.

Wow. Yeah I thought I was about the only one around here.

My first guitar was a cheapo S&H Greenstamps acoustic with mile-high action.
I probably got that around 1970. I learned a few chords. I started practicing
a lot more seriously in 74 when my college roommate arrived with his Strat.
