I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

yes 5150 2/6505+ will get it because i met them and talked to them about theyre gear and seen them 2 but i guess on the new cd its got some marshall amps in it on some songs but peavey is the way to get the original 2 album tones and of course EMG's

dan uses a jcm 800 live probly an overdrive pedal too they record using three different amps a mesa for lows a marshall for highs and i think a bogner for mids. but peavey 6505s are the greatest amp ever made and they will get pretty much any tone you could imagine

bands change what gear they use quite often though...especially in the studio. But this gives you an idea at least.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
