i got the august guitar one issue and they tabbed out cowboys from hell and it says that it is tuned in 1/4 step. can anyone tell me how to achieve 1/4? thanks

You could probably achieve that by using a tuner that measures in cents, and just try and get halfway between flat and normal

If you're tuner supports it set your A440 to about 428hz and tune up normally, that should be about halfway between E and Eb


though unless you're playing along to the original tracl theres no need to retune

or just adjust where your playing it to get the right ntoes. thats what i usually do with stuff thats tuned down. just move it down on the neck .

um dude u cant go down a quarter step by moving down the frets. frets go down in half steps, buddy
