Im was thinging about getting This and removing the pickguard (it looks better IMO). WOuld it look bad? ie: hole, routs, ect.

Nope there is nothing under an LP p/g. apart from 2 little holes it looks just like an LP studio with binding.

You'll have about 3 holes. One next to the pickguard, and 2 on the side of the body. Atleast, I think it's 2.

That's about it.

why dont they stop making those ugly CREAM colored pick guards.....
if they made them black or plaine white id actually find a les paul attractive

Thats why i like the ESP Eclipse series, the higher end models look just like a LP and NO pickguard.

you could just get a studio. They don't have p/g's and lp customs have black P/g's

Gibson Les Paul Standards don't have pickguards. They also cost about $2000 more.
