Hey, I'm thinking of buying a Jackson DKMG Dinky, but adding coil taps to it. How much would that procedure cost if the local guitar shop charges $1/min for repairs and stuff...like how much are the parts required for the tap and is it a long procedure? Would this be a "good" guitar for playing stuff from Metallica to Hendrix to Vai?

coil taps or coil splits. and its alright for the stuff you play. now if you have a soldering iron and can read schematics then you can do it yourself
